“Sam Feels Better Now: An Interactive Story for Children” began as a project for a traumatology course taught by Dr. Greg and Dr. Cathy Brack at Georgia State University. It incorporates elements of trauma therapy, as well as play and expressive therapies to assist children in working through crisis situations, traumatic events, and grief by helping the character, Sam to feel better after his own difficult situation.
